On boarding the “Wave Chieftain” for your first dive at Falmouth we will go through an in depth safety brief of the boat and its safety equipment and then continue to discuss our dive procedures, such as entry and recovery, venue and tides etc.
We have a vast array of diving sites at Falmouth, all of which requiring different skill levels and as such we will only let you dive once you have produced your qualification cards accordingly.
You will be asked to sign in before each dive and plenty of time is given to ensure that you are fully aware and understand your instructions for that particular dive / dive site.
We insist that all divers have a buddy and that your surface to surface and deployment of DSMB times are respected
Air is not available onboard the “Wave Chieftain” however Seaways Diving at Penryn is only five minutes away and are very accommodating with our divers.
We have worked closely throughout the year with them covering dive boat and technical training courses alike and have found them to be excellent.

Wreck diving at Falmouth onboard the Wave Chieftain is available to all levels of divers, we have an abundance of dive sites from 15m to 80m and our skipper has a vast in depth knowledge of all of our dive sites, his experience gained as a commercial fisherman and passion for introducing new sites makes for a better diving experience to both new and old divers alike.
There are a huge amount of wreck diving sites within easy reach of Falmouth, and what ever you want from your diving can be found with ease here.
We have a small sample of Falmouth wreck diving sites published on this web site, however we have a huge data base of wrecks that we have fished more than dived and hold a vast amount of detailed information of them that we are happy to discuss with you should you whish to dive “Some Thing Different” for a change.
All of which are technical dive sites due to there depth, however we are confident that given the rite weather and tide there are still plenty of surprises waiting to be found whilst wreck diving with us.
Wreck Diving at Falmouth has been well documented over the years and is host to quite a few famous wrecks, all of which continue to throw a surprise every now and then, we have seen some remarkable artefacts brought to the surface over the last year from the most unexpected dive sites |

Reef diving at Falmouth is a must as we have some of the best dive sites in the country and again the range covers from the new to the most experienced divers.
We cater for all divers and we endeavour to make your dive with us one to remember, calculating tidal drifts for long reef drifts to slack water reef diving in the Manacles, there's something for every diver to enjoy at Falmouth bay.
From shallow reef dives to deep ledge drop off dives, or just poking around the holes and gullies of the Bizzies and surrounding reefs we cater for it all.
Diving throughout the year we watch as the season changes and the underwater world changes with it, bringing a change of marine life as the water temperature drops and rises.
Cornwall has a history for diving and Falmouth is at the heart of it, you simply are spoilt for choice, Wreck dive in the morning, do a bit of fishing during your surface interval and then reef dive in the afternoon.
