    Conditions

His passion for fishing and curiosity of the sea started

At the age of eight when he  began pestering the local fisherman at Portreath to accommodate him on their boats for the day to learn about potting for lobsters

Following a career of commercial fishing was inevitable

gaining  his experience over the years  working on beam trawlers, scalloping, gill netting, long lining and hand lining

A vast knowledge of wreck fishing and commercial experience has proved him well with some great fish being landed aboard his vessels over the years

In the last four  years at Falmouth he has logged in excess of  ten thousand sea miles and his knowledge of the area is vast, however in his own words he will tell you, there's always something new to learn and the sea is a magical place that is always full of surprises

He is  a qualified RYA Skipper and PADI open water diver and fully trained in First aid, Oxygen administration , Advanced Rescue Management, AED Defibrillation, Sea survival, Radar and VHf radios

Sharing his experiences with anglers / divers both new and old and backed up by his qualified crew members means that your in good hands for a great day out on the open sea

Nigel Hodge -  Skipper

From the age of eight Emma began to find her feet on the water

Learning to sail in her home town of Fowey in a Mirror dingy and then moving on to racing Troys and cruisers as

Part of a dedicated local crew

She found herself then moving on to life guarding and swimming at which point she excelled and became county champion ladies life saver at a very young age of just 16

With her passion for the sea established, she continued to share her skills and experiences

With a career teaching local children both canoeing and sailing alike

Over the last 5 years Emma has travelled along side her partner Nigel at sea and become a dab hand to say the least

Her natural talent at catching fish has to be seen to be believed

Cornwall ladies county champion for two years running and many county record fish to her name

Is a justified credit to her dedication and love of sea fishing

She is  a qualified RYA Skipper and PADI open water diver and fully trained in First aid, Oxygen administration , Advanced Rescue Management, AED Defibrillation, Sea survival, and VHf radios

As a mum and great wife she takes care of the finer points and wants every one onboard to

Have a safe and happy day at sea
