Our vessel is the most powerful charter boat in Cornwall and custom built for the job, with a17ft beam and seating both inside and outside for twelve people there is ample room for everyone onboard to enjoy the day in comfort

 

Fully licensed and insured to carry 12 passengers and 2 crew

We have subdivided the site for easier navigation between Boat Fishing & Boat Diving

Boat Diving at Falmouth is also divided covering issues such as Falmouth Dive sites and Dive Safety and Photos

 

As a long established charter boat at Falmouth we hold a vast knowledge of the local Boat fishing and Boat Dive sites

 

Our Vessel is meticulously maintained and inspected and carries all the latest electronic equipment for your safety

 

We welcome both Novice and Professional Boat fishing and Boat diving parties, tuition and training is always available

 

 

Cornwall Shark Fishing Trips

 

Fishing for Sharks in Cornwall has been practised for many years and is home of the Shark Fishing Club Of Great Britain and aboard the Wave Chieftain at Falmouth, we have a vast knowledge and experience in Shark fishing; capturing, measuring, tagging and releasing these magnificent creatures. As divers we even get in the water with them, watch and film them feeding, which is just awesome to say the least

 

We support organisations such as the Uk Shark Tagging Program and The Shark Trust and local organisation, Shark Cornwall

 

Specialising in Shark Fishing for Blue Sharks, Porbeagle Sharks, Thresher Sharks and Mako Sharks

 

We supply all specialised Shark Fishing equipment and have a strict return policy for all Sharks caught

Cornwall Cage Diving With Sharks

 

We will be running Cage diving trips this year at Falmouth, getting close up and friendly with the local Blue Sharks, Porbeagle Sharks, Thresher Sharks, Mako Sharks and Basking Sharks and capturing the whole thing on our new HD underwater video camera  for you to take home or view on deck if your not brave enough to get in with them !

                                                           There are some 453 Sharks world wide of which some 21 species of Shark live in UK waters , Blue Shark, Porbeagle Shark, Mako Shark, Thresher Shark, Basking Shark, Big Eyed Thresher Shark, Blunt Nose Six Gill Shark, Sharp Nosed Seven Gill Shark, Greenland Shark, Frilled Shark, Lantern Shark, Kite fin Shark, Bramble Shark and more commonly Lesser Spotted Dogfish Shark, Bull Huss Shark, Tope Shark, Spur Dog Shark, Smooth Hound Shark, Starry Smooth Hound Shark and Monk fish Shark to name a few.

At Falmouth we have dozens of ship wrecks and reefs that we can fish and some of the best specimen Pollack ,Ling and Conger eels in the Uk are commonly caught onboard the Wave Chieftain

 

With depths of over 300ft you will have a fight on your hands even with a modest fish

 

Mackerel, Garfish, Herring, Pouting, Dog Fish, Wrasse, Bass, Ray, Ling, Pollack, Conger eel and Sharks are just some of the species that we fish for through out the year at Falmouth
